Matt Pacini
I think everyone knows the stuff Cinema Products is/was well know for: The Steadicam, the CP-16, the GSMO, CP Ultra Prime lenses... But I'm amazed at how I keep seeing stuff show up on ebay, etc., that I had no idea they made, like a 35mm camera, crystal motors for other cameras, a baseplate for the Arri II, etc., and I picked up a couple lights and a case on ebay last week, that are called "Cinema Products Bubblelite", that is are smalll fixtures with two 650 lamps (similar to a lowel Omni x2... sort of), with switches for each light. Kinda funky, but really useful for me... Anyone here know of other stuff they made? I'm just curious. Also, did they under, or did they just sell of to Tiffen for other reasons? I would imagine trying to make every cinema product imaginable would be a good way to go bankrupt!) Matt Pacini
