jim blair Posted November 30, 2011 Share Posted November 30, 2011 Hi, I just got a Bolex H16 REX1 which I tested and found to be working. However, I am not sure about the rewind function. I would like to do dissolves and things like that but I don't know if the rewind is working properly or I am not doing something right. My camera is only equipped with one knob for the 100-1000 frame counter and another for the 0-50 counter. I should also mention i don't have the rewind crank. When i disengage the motor and rewind back nothing in the transport seems to be moving (when viewed with the film chamber cover open). Should I be seeing the transport moving backwards or forwards? Jean-Louis Seguin Posted November 30, 2011 Share Posted November 30, 2011 You need the crank to turn the center shaft. Turning the small knobs only resets the frame counter.
