Hey All.

Are there any EPIC SPECIFIC issues to know about when shooting green screen work using the Epic? I'm not talking about lighting or any other typical green screen "tips," I am just wondering if there are any strange quirks that have popped up or that people know about when using the Epic to shoot green screen stuff.

Thanks

James.

We just recorded a bigger greenscreen session with RED Epic and after all I must say it's quite easy to key the material. We mainly shot with 3:1 compression.

Cheers

If shooting with tungsten sources on the MX daylight balanced sensor, I typically like to shoot at a lower Asa such as 500asa instead of the native 800 for cleaner results. If there is a lot of skin tones, I like to employ an 80C filter and balance to 440k to eliminate noise and gain in the blue channel.
