flavio filho
Hi everybody. Next week I'll be shooting my first short film. Looking into casting now. The situation: Interior of a cafe, series of CU and MCU of 2 actors seated in a table. V.O. only, no dialogues, of passages from 2 books from Virginia Woolf and D.H. Lawrence. To spoil the end of the film, they would be seated in different tables reading each a book, in between other people and tables n a cafe. I need help with the LIGHTING! To find the most simple/interesting + affordable way to get the lights on location. Brands, X Places for location in London/UK. I am considering buy if there's a cheap and portable kit that would do well (the money will come all from my pocket. Ugh!) So... thought to pop up asking for some help! And any suggestions on the LIGHTING SETUP as I'm on it now and have this weekend to take all the decisions. Any way to make it interesting, intimate, we hear only actors thoughts... Any ideas? Shooting with a Bolex EL 16mm, 400' magazine. Stock ETERNA VIVID 160T (or any suggestions?). Thanks everybody! Wish me luck! Flavio
