  7. Hey. Thanks a lot guys. Funny thing, I've got an email today from Shoot35 in Uk, the ones that sold me the ring they don't manufacture anymore, asking 'how many" of them I;d need. I've said 2 or 3 depending on price. Thing is... These are 16mm cine lenses. I love them, I have a BMPCC, invested in quite a few accessories. But it's 16mm, not 35mm. It;s what I could afford, though. Mot diminishing the potential of 16mm, I love it. But I hope in the near future to be working with 35mm. Thanks a lot for your help! Will check those out now. F
  8. Hello guys. Need help finding a focus ring to adapt into my Schneider 16mm lenses. The problem is the circumference of the focus ring on the lens is 165mm. Redrock Micro has the type "A" ring with the minimum of 180mm. Years ago I've bought from Shoot35 in UK a model that fits perfectly, but they dont' have it anymore. I need 3 more. I know there are the universal 'malleable' rings, but I need the ones that have a larger diameter outside, to reach the follow focus gear. I've been looking around all the web, not even on eBay I could find, new or used. Any help much appreciated. Regards, Flavio
  9. Hi all. I wonder if anyone owns the Nikon G to BMPCC Speed Booster from Metabones? It says it works with Nikon G lens. But my question is: Would this work with a Zeiss ZF.2 Nikon mount? I've seen reviews of many people mentioning only Nikkor an Sigma lenses used with this adapter. But I need to know if it works with the Zeiss. Thanks, Flavio
  10. Hi Adrian and Kenny. Would the Cree 100W you mentioned be this? http://www.homedepot.com/p/Cree-100W-Equivalent-Daylight-5000K-A21-Dimmable-LED-Light-Bulb-BA21-16050OMF-12DE26-1U100/205054836 If so, how many of those Cree 100W should I buy? And what would be the tripod/connection to use them with? or do you guys simply change the lamps in the environment for those Cree? If I buy a couple of Cree, a China Ball, and a small Tungsten Kit, could I say I'm "covered" somehow? My budget is low, but I'd like to plan to acquire a proper, simple, but effective Lighting Kit. Thanks for the input, guys!
  11. Thanks, guys! Very well explained. I'd buy the Omni as it seems practical. Though would have to buy the tripods separate. As well as the mattebox? Anyway. Thanks a lot!
  12. Hello everybody. It's my first post on lighting here on Cinematography.com I'm looking for a lighting kit to use with my Black magic Pocket Cam and 16mm lenses, that could be affordable, compact, and produce good results. Artificial Lighting is not my strong on Cinematography, I normally improvise with natural light, and have used an Arri Red kit before. Loved the results. I know there's a difference between fluorescent, incandescent and LED... though what would be a good choice in the case of using for small productions? When it comes to buy, its worth ask around for those who understand before go to BH Photo. Please let me know your suggestions. And thanks in advance. Thanks, Flavio
