Ckulakov
Dear Filmmakers, What are the key and most important factors in creating a more saturated Image. One that is more saturated, vibrent, and contrasty when shooting with a home DV camcorder. Please give me discriptive advice. Please give me honest, discriptive replys. I would really appreciate it Thank You very much in Advance Constantine
DavidSloan
Please give me honest, discriptive replys. Well I was planning to lie, but since you demand honesty I'll do my best. From a consumer DV camera, to 35mm neg, most of the contrast, and saturation manipulations are achieved in post. Look into some different softwares on the market, that deal with this. Things in the vain of After Effects. I think, for future reference, you should post in the first time filmmakers forum, as this forum is to deal with lighting and lighting issues only. Andre Lim
avid works wonders on saturation w/ DV projects and it lets you do the opposite and desaturate the whol image so you can have a B&W film.
