David Landau Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 You could get an old copy of Anton Wilson's Cinema Workshop and an old copy of the ASC manual, from the 60s and that would tell you what was new at the time. You could also look for other books about cinematography written in the 60s.The documnetary "Visions of Light" would also be helpful. I would also highly recommend the doc about Vilmos and Laszlo, two of the great 60s cinematographers. http://www.ascmag.com/store/product.php?productid=6390&cat=314&page=4 http://www.ascmag.com/store/product.php?productid=16461&cat=314&page=3
