AlexSkolimowski
Hallo, I bought a K3 3 weeks ago from a Ukranian ebay seller, and it worked several times when I was learning how to load film into it, but now I tried the single frame release and it doesn't react anymore. The registration pin is invisible, the start button has no effect on it and I can't wind it any further. What causes this problem? Is it correct that a tiny pin comes out of the cable release hole at the back when you push the start button or is this maybe a piece of the cable release? Thank you very much, Alex

Thank you very much, Alex <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's normal. It is part of the camera mechanism. Your only real hope is to disassemble the camera and see if something is jamming it. Mike Panczenko
Also, if you remove the shutter, when you put it back into place it can seem that it is correctly aligned, but in actuality you may need to futz with it a little to get it where it needs to be. andrewbuchanan
I would not recommend this with other cameras, but I have gotten mine free with a hard whack on the top front corner.
AlexSkolimowski
Thank you all very much, I'll first try to whack the front and then disassemble the front cover to see if there's something wrong with the gears. Does this problem really exist with all K3s? I can't imagine that an amateur camera can be designed to be disassembled oftenly.

One of my friends K-3's did and it was that cord on the back of the baffle plate that was the culprit. I removed the cord and all that stuff from mine.
