Alexander Zx
Hi, I recently bought a penncrest 400. The shutter fires with AA batteries in it but, there is a mercury battery in the camera. This is a separate battery to operate the automatic exposure meter. I wanted to know if this is necessary for filming, or if I don't need it. If anyone has any experience with this camera please reply. Thanks.
Bill Rodgers
You need the internal light meter to work for automatic exposure. Otherwise you will need to set it to manual exposure and use an external light meter.
