Tom Benton Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 Just bought a Canon 814 Auto Zoom from a German photography seller. Cleaned, well-maintained, reportedly testing and working with film. Just put the batteries in. Everything runs, but the fold-out hand grip, which contains 4 AA batteries, feels real hot. Is this normal?
David Cunningham Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 Definitely not normal. I'd get those batteries out of there ASAP before they leak all over the inside. I agree... likely a short somewhere.
