1. The Slate goes in at the very last minute.
2. Know your lenses and know how far away to stand.
3. Be Quick.
4. Don’t make the operator chase you.
5. Exit Strategies.
6. Read the scene.
7. Be Steady.
8. Keep it clean.
9. Spell it right.
10. Get it right.
11. Let there be light but not too much.
12. Don’t walk away with the slate.
