Erik Sens
Hi There! Here's the task: For an upcoming feature (which will mainly be shot "handheld") the DOP wants to use a bungee-camera-mount on a regular basis. Our main work-horse on this will be a "Rickshaw"-Dolly ( http://www.rickshawdolly.com/en/tech/t1.html ) on which I'm going to install a gibbet(?) out of speedrail to mount the bungee. But for some very narrow indoor sets the plan is to rig the bungee to a tube which is mounted on two stands (e.g. heavily bagged low-boys) - and for this set up the DOP wants a moveable mount, meaning travelling on the tube, if possible also in the "ON". Has anyone done something like this before (best would be if incorporating standard grip-/rigging-equipment)? If yes, any photos of the rigs would be highly apreciated! Thanks! Sanjay Sami
Use a long slider, and mount the bungi on the carriage.
