Milo Sekulovich Posted May 17, 2005 Posted May 17, 2005 Greetings, I've recently become the owner of a pretty immaculate 2B......my biggest beef is with the viewing of those irritating light baffles in the viewfinder.......does anyone know how they can be taken out? Is this something I can do myself? I've read conflicting things about the validity of the baflles, and how the absence of them doesn't cause anY problems..... I would appreciate any input..... Thanks, Milo
Rolfe Klement Posted May 17, 2005 Posted May 17, 2005 Arri GB said they could take mine out no problem so..... thanks Rolfe
Christian Appelt Posted May 17, 2005 Posted May 17, 2005 I wouldn't remove them - depending on the lens type, f-stops and lighting circumstances you are shooting at, they help preventing stray light and unwanted reflections from the ground glass (more about it in the book ANTON WILSON'S CINEMA WORKSHOP).
