Drew Bienemann
Hey, I just bought an SRIII but it only came with one battery. Anyone know where I could pick up a couple more? Or, does anyone know someone who could make a small onboard that could plug into the 4-pin xlr? Looking for new, used, aftermarket, 3rd party, whatever. Cheers! Premium Member Adrian Sierkowski Posted September 9, 2015 Premium Member Share Posted September 9, 2015 If it's an SR3 you'd need a 3 pin 24V XLR as it's a 24V System. Best bet is to keep the onboard for when needed and power off of a block batter. Speak with Visual Products, that's where I've gotten most of my SR stuff. Anton Bauer also makes Cine block batteries which are 12/24V but you need 24V for the SR3. You could also in theory wire up a few 12V sources to give yourself a 24V system. Drew Bienemann
I suppose my next question would be where do I get a charger for these things?
Premium Member Adrian Sierkowski Posted September 9, 2015 Premium Member Share Posted September 9, 2015 I'd call around, Du-All, Visual Products, Ebay etc to see if you can track one down. Perhaps the place selling the packs has one around.
