dinko
HI, The next project I am doing demands 400 iso in certain situations, I would like to use HP5 for the project but still I dont know if the grain is going to be over the top for 16mm neg. I am also planning to test pushing double-x 200 one stop. Has anybody has experience with pushing double-x to 400 and also comparing it to HP5. Most of the film labs use only D-96 as their main developer for black and white and they all say that it is actually recommended to develop HP5 in D-96- (maybe some info on that??) Thanks Dinko
Christian Appelt
I tried a number of high speed b&w negative stocks, and this is the one I liked best: Look here for more data: N74 negative Just do a test and compare it with your other stocks, IMHO it's definitely superior to Eastman stock, Ilford I never tried because it was so expensive (in some European countries).
