Commercials and customer influence

Good evening guys. Well, at least it's evening over here.

 

I have run into a few smaller issues while finishing some films, and I am thinking that involving the customer during edits might make the prosess go smoother. I guess I am late at realizing this is a normal way of doing things? How are these things normalt done?

 

Another thing that pops into my mind with this. How much of the creative process should the customer have a say in?
