Lars.Erik
Hey there, I'm working with the DVX100a at the moment. My question is this: When you white balance this cam, it only states WB ok. It doesn't tell me a Kelvin reading. I know this is the case with most 1/3" cams too. But isn't there anyway to change this in the cam? Any tips would be appreciated. Shawn Murphy
The DVX does not display, or "measure", the temperature when performing a white balance. Although it does have two presets, one for 3200k and one for 5600k, when you set the 'WHITE BAL' switch to 'PRST', the white balance button on the front f the camera will toggle between (and display) the two standard temps: 3200 or 5600. Here's a decent thread on this subject: http://www.dvxuser.com/V3/showthread.php?t=23293
Lars.Erik
Thank you Shawn. Does anyone know why this is the case? Is it some kind of tech restrictions to it? LE
