Guest jeremy edge
I might be able to upgrade to a better camera in a few months. I would love to hear some thoughts on: Eclair NPR and ACLs Kinor 16(olexander has a variable speed stabilized motor mod now!) Aaton LTR 7 Also ,has anyone done a s16 mod through Les Bosher? His prices on all these cams are very reasonable . I want to be able to shoot at 24 and 48 fps and have 400 ft mags that are not too terrible hard to learn to load. And future s16 upgradeablility Something Im also considering is getting a Konvas and switching to 35mm. But my film costs go up considerably ,not too mention a 400 ft roll only lasts 4 min as to opposed to a 16mm 400ft load lasts almost 12.that means a lot of loading on those complex mags. My budget is somewhere between $2000 and $4000. If I max my budget out on just the camera I may have to wait on the s16 mod.but as long as that's an option. . His overheads in Wales are low so his prices are good! Stephen Williams Lighting Cameraman www.stephenw.com

Guest jeremy edge
yeah, Im convinced les is the man! everything I have heard has been good. Anyone have any opinions on these cameras? Any quirks? What about a GSMO? Is that a good camera? How is sync shooting with the kinor's non crystal motor?
