What are those red pull-knobs for then?  I've only ever seen those on cheap-but-hey-they-work Arri-S mounts.

ETA: Oh I see maybe they're cheap-and-ugly-but-hey-they-work knobs for grabbing the PL mount ring and spinning it?

Pics of three PL/TS adapters...

1) The Les Bosher one..see my dropbox ACL II pics  https://www.dropbox.com/sh/iv95oerahx3929f/AADPd-7BkrctDPv78WjwtDlDa?dl=0   and Les has a pic on his website...

2) The simplest and cheapest looking one.

3) Quite sophisticated. Heikki has it now so he can maybe answer questions about it.

Thank you so much Gregg! So the TS is just a metric thread? I wonder if you, Heikki, or someone could measure the threads, as I unfortunately do not have any factory adapters. I suppose I could try to measure the ones directly on my Eclair.

Alternatively, might there be a specification or mechanical drawing for the TS mount made by Eclair? That could help even more.

This is the ebay machinist, by the way. https://www.ebay.com/str/rareadapters

He does make some PL adapters out of steel, so it seems like he could make one that would work.

Thanks!
