I am in the market to purchase a nice ACL Eclair II and everything is checking out except for one thing . The darken area within the circle marking. This camera has the LED 7 metering system and wanted to check with other owners if this is completely normal ?? It makes focusing really hard since it covers such a large area. I have removed the kipontik viewfinder and looked through and can still see it . Is the darken area part of the metering system ?? Can it be removed or is it some how part of the ground glass ?? Allyn Iwatsuru Posted September 18, 2021 Share Posted September 18, 2021 I’m no professional on this matter as I haven’t held more than just my own ACL 2, but I don’t have that dark circle in the middle( I have the kinoptik viewfinder as well).
