Rasmus Dahl-Sorensen Posted September 4, 2022 Posted September 4, 2022 (edited) Hey there. Looking for experts regarding the Arri 300 blimp for the Arri 35 2's. Have a look at these 5 images that I link to. https://freeimage.host/i/6AHsv1 https://freeimage.host/i/6AHP3B https://freeimage.host/i/6AHrEQ https://freeimage.host/i/6AHiYP https://freeimage.host/i/6AH44V What's that in pictures D & E ? An entry point for that which is indicated in B? It's missing in A & C. It seems that Arri over the years changed the design? Thanks in advance Edited September 4, 2022 by Rasmus Dahl-Sorensen Added a missing 2
Rasmus Dahl-Sorensen Posted October 24, 2022 Author Posted October 24, 2022 Willie Schmitz kindly provided insight : they're ports for video tap.
Bill Megalos Posted October 26, 2022 Posted October 26, 2022 Can you please tell me the weight of the 300 blimp with a IIC inside (approximate is ok) I worked with this gear in the 70s with the Greek director Angelopoulos and I will be giving a lecture and would love to know the weight. Thank you, Bill
Rasmus Dahl-Sorensen Posted October 31, 2022 Author Posted October 31, 2022 (edited) Hey Bill. Sorry for the late reply. With camera and 1000 foot magazine the total weight is 136 lbs / 62 kilogrammes (sourced from Arri via Willie Schmitz). Best regards Rasmus Edited October 31, 2022 by Rasmus Dahl-Sorensen Added info
Rasmus Dahl-Sorensen Posted October 31, 2022 Author Posted October 31, 2022 Additionally for those interested: Custom Bellows in Birmingham, UK made a beautiful bellow replacement (the original was in a poor state) true to the original.
