Daily Rate for Boom Operator/Sound Guy

Hi, I've been working on some independent reels and charging about 120 to 150 a day for recording synch sound. I've been using a boom and a dat machine. Should I be charging this much? More?less?

For a professional mixer / operator, that's pretty low. If you're doing it for experience, then that's a different stroy.

If you have your own gear I would say atleast $250. I think that is what the bare minimum is for any guy doing audio for tv.

 

Then of course (don't throw rocks at me)but how much work goes into boom operation?
