Guest RichardBlank
Hi, I don't understand the question! Do you mean chip size? Stephen Yes, I think it's the CCD's size. I need to know the aperture width to match Varicam footage with CG footage. To get the right lenses in the 3d program i need to know the exact aperture width on the Varicam. Richard Hi, I know a 4x3 2/3" sensor is 8.8mm wide and 6.6 high. Try 11.73mm wide and 6.6 high, I told that to a 3D guy a couple of moths ago and he was happy! Film a cube say 50 cm x 50 cm x50 cm. Measure the distances very accurately and note the focal length of lens. Then it should be fairly easy to make things fit! Hopefully there are no Zooms in the material you are trying to match! Let me know, Cheers, Stephen
