This is probably a dumb question, but is there a difference? I assume there is.

I'm not really a fan of his, I just read somewhere that he used one. I'm looking for something to record sound on a budget. I could care less who uses it or why, so long as it works.

Has anyone ever used a Sony Professional tape recorder? I read that Jon Jost uses/used one.

Is it true you can't change lenses on the "A"'s. I recently aquired one and the manual does'nt say anything about that.

I was'nt sure about that. It looks really low quality.
