Although you have tested in the moonlight, do you know exactly what day you are shooting on? What if there is no moon on that day? something to consider

Personally I love kinos, one nice thing is if you have them walking and singing into the camera the a 4x4 kino can easily be walked beside the camera and you well get a nice glow. Plus they aren't too heavy. Of course this depends on your ISO cuz a 4x4 may not cut it. They also make a nice fill light One thing you must be careful of is not to make everything flat and bland because kinos do have a bit of throw.

I'f your really broke try parchment paper, or even a white sheet. These are really poor man ways but if done right they can be effective
