  1. Actually, I think this one speaks most about me as a photographer. It's called Copper Man. :)
  2. If you had to net yourself a photo/cinematographical job on the basis of ONE photo, or frame grab which one would it be? In essence, which photo/grab speaks most about you as a photographer/cinematographer? I can't personally decide at the moment, so I'll let you people kick this off.
  3. Soon that'll be a A200. I'm downgrading to the better camera.
  4. I loved your work, Danny. You really captured the gloom of the place, and drew me right in with your work. As Mark said I wasn't keen on the narration, it just seemes to lack pace, and engagement wth the viewer. I think programmes like Most Haunted use spooky music to liven the narration as well, so maybe you should use during the narration more too. I would have been completely alright with the dark, the ghost (I do believe in ghosts), and with being deep underground. But I could absolutely NOT stand being within 50 yards of the mannequins, you're a much braver man that me! Five Stars! :)
  5. After taking the camera outyside for a shooting adventure earlier I realised what a nice beast it really is, and as such I've decided not to part with it. Sorry for the inconvenience.
  6. After buying four rolls of EXR 100T that turned out to be defective not anymore.
  7. Oh I have got to get one of those screen adapters! I just have to! And I think I've decided on perhaps buying a Canon HF S100.
  8. It is indeed a great prospect. Great looking focus dial, and gain control! I'm still deliberating over whether to buy one. Let's just hope it can deliver the goods.
  9. Well, it certainly Ikonoskop! Which also means it's one off the dullest looking cameras ever to walk this earth.
  10. That is seriously a very good idea. That, along with Top Photo, especially if it's giving unsung people a chance.
  11. Sort of off-topic but I'll say it anyway. On boxing day we had an awful power cut in my area, and since we've been suviving on the power generated by a white 'Aggreco' box about 8ft x 10ft x 6ft. Anyway, this is a huge area, proabaly around 250 houses! It's amazing how efficient it is, and the only noise you hear is a light diesel thrum!
  12. Hello. With regret I'm selling my pretty much brand-new Sony Alpha A300 DSLR. It's effectively the same camera as the A350, only it has 10.2 Megapixels instead of 14.0. It's a wonderful camera. There's a lovely crisp viewfinder, two great lenses that focus and zoom lovely and smoothly, and a fantastic folding live view that I've found really useful for getting shots from unusual angles. It's also has loads of manual picture ajustments. All in all it's a lovely camera, and I'm sure it'll make someone as happy as it's made me. The camera is in immaculate condition, not a scratch or dng anywhere on it's body or lenses, at the worst the lenses and screen may need a little wipe, but I'll do that myself. I've probably only taken 200 or so shots with it, and been on only one outing with it, so it's not nearly old enough for any sort of wear or tear. I'm selling it because after buying it I learn't that a Nikon DSLR will take the same lenses as a Nikon FM2 (which I own) and I have a lot of nice lenses which aren't being put to use at the moment. Nothing is wrong with the camera at all. I paid £479.00 in Jessops on the second or third of this month. I'd like to make £400 back, but I'm open to offers. Or I'll prefferably swap the camera for a Nikon D80 of similar condition, or a D40 with a really nice wide zoom or macro lens. Thanks for reading! :)
  13. ALL of the Chronicle of Narnia! Starting with The Magician's Nephew, and A Horse And His Boy. I would bring back the Christian aspect of the series that hasn't properly been translated into eith the BBC version, or the Hollywood version.
  14. I've now got a Polaroid 680 camera from eBay. The first camera I owned was Polaroid, and I'm gflad to have one again!
  15. I'm not exactly sure, maybe five or six stops, but I've been able to get nicer result from my own car than those minicams get.
  16. Whatr about a Canon HVx0. From my experience they have great colour latitude fow what they are, they're small, cheap, and can do 50i at 1080.
  17. A simply first class Super 8 man!

  18. Ah! Got it! Thans very much. Pentax has the M42 mount, does it not?
  19. Good lord, so it does! I'm only after one or two so maybe it won't be so bad. Thanks!
  20. Hi. I'd like get into collecting Autochrome, seeing as you can no longer shoot them. Are there any places online that speciallise in that sort of thing? Also, is there any sort of authentification certificate an Autochrome should have? Thanks!
  21. It seems we enthusiasts were left out in the cold yet again. Do you know whether a dedicated AVCHD editing deck will be a viable proposition for the future.
