  1. Can I point out that these films are not just a series of pictures where the characters were voiced by mere 10 year olds, they are well written, well acted, the special effects, especially in Alabama Jones, are brilliant, don't go off by the Stereotype that Brickfilm are all voiced by retarded 10 year olds, with scrappy animation. Sure, there are a fair few of them, but these are the underated little gems, I woudn't show you guys the crap ones, you'd eat them, and me, up. So give Brickfilms a try -Matthew Buick PS. Might I also add Versuch Nr. 99, it's all in German, but I'd watch it for the lighting alone, the attention to detail in that film is excellent, especially considering, most of these films are made by bored teenagers, though I'll admit these 3 probably weren't.
  2. NO NO NO NO NO, I meant to erase that ASC bit and forgot to take it out, sorry. What does Sophomoric mean ?
  3. I'm going to change my username to Kaptain Kharisma ASC, Kool huh.
  4. How much will that kost, bekause I kan't afford a really Kostly Kamera.
  5. Wow, I love super widescreen. Is there any way to achive that with a ARRI 16S/B ?
  6. There are two films at Brickfilms that I would stronly recommend looking at : Blambo II ------------- A brilliant spoof on the Rambo type films. Alabama Jones-------- A hilarious film about a pizza delivery with a difference. Just google Brickfilms, when you're on the site, there is a small Hyperlink near the top of the webpage called Films, when you've xclicked on that, you come to a small search engine just put the film's title in there. None of these films are longer than six minutes, so they won't take up too much time. Enjoy. Matthew Buick P.S If you're looking in the forums, my user is called, (surprise surprise), Matthew Buick
  7. They won't listen to a mere teen, but I think you're right about them being costly.
  8. The Mill gets my film, I know they won't screw up.
  9. Any idea how much I should expect to pay ?
  10. How much does telecine for 100ft of 16mm film usually cost ?
  11. Thanks, but I'll just practice cinematography with the ARRI 16S/B, possibly with APEC, that I buy.
  12. Why do you ask? Just morbid curiosity? Twas indeed morbid curiosity. I've got a Kodak Instamatic in the attic I'll sell you for $2.5 Billion dollars... you want it with or without the Peace Symbol sticker on it? :P WHAT !!!     I'd imagine that 65mm, IMax and Cinemascope cameras would be very pricey, because they are used only on a comparatively few, hugely expensive productions. When were these around ?
  13. I promise, unless someone says '' touch my camera or I'll tear you're head off '', can you recommend any good ones.
  14. Does any one know which camera of any format was the most expensive to buy ?
  15. Sorry, I forgot what exposure meant, I fine with it.
  16. What exactly does it do, because I know I'm going to have a problem with exposure.
  17. How much more do you have to pay for it ?
  18. I ve seen a picture of an ARRI 16S with a wierd thing above the veiwfinder with a dial on it. Does anyone know what that thing is, and whether it's worth paying extra for an ARRI with one of these things on ?
  19. Well, I guess I'll either do Lip-Sync (not for a few years), or just for now, I'll practice cinematography with it,MOS cameras can do that, can't they ? P.S These emoticons are crap, look at the ones on Brickfilms, there's even a vomiting one !!!
  20. I don't want to rent, I'll be using this camera A LOT. What about the Eclair NPR ?
  21. Hi, how much did this thing cost, and is it quieter than the ARRI 16M ?
  22. I can't afford an SR or BL, I can only just afford a S or M.
