The R10 and R8 are not as silent as the Canon but the lenses are great, here are the specs: R 10 R 8

Hello, I have never shot with a Chinon or Nizo but if you are not able to get the Canon you could try to look for the Nikon R8 or R10. These 2 cameras have incredible glass with super bright viewfinder and can produce great images. Good luck.
