  1. Hey Pete, Any suggestion on what you think is missing or lucking in the video to improved it.
  2. My first music video shot on 11 rolls of vision2 7217/7218, total of 8 hrs. of work and I can not wait the next time the band is in town to do the rest of scene. Sorry, guys, the song is in Tagalog (Pilipino language) http://blip.tv/file/491353?filename=Amfriera-Lihim115.mov here is a rough translation. I don't understand, these burdening feelings try as I may to ignore them, still they linger on time hastening, no longer want to tolerate it all through life expecting, forced to live with them chorus: nothing else I can do but to wait for the end I don't know If I have the strength to get back up again. or able to go back again can someone tell me what to do all I want is that all doubts in my mind to stop to learn who I am, to escape the darkness to see again, and vanquished all these hidden secrets I'm keeping (Repeat Chorus) why can't I understand... why can't I patiently wait Let me know what you guys think?
  3. I can only speak about the one that served me well, my own dependable 6008 PRO, crystal sync, Angeniieux 6-80 T1.4 and yes, serviced and maintained by the man himself Bjorn Anderson, as I had no experience with other super 8mm camera. I got mine last semester and I have shot at least 60 rolls of film ever since.
  4. I highly recommend Beaulieu PRO series super 8 camera. 4,9,18,24/25,36,80 + single frame, crystal sync option, Ground Glass Focusing, and 6-80 T1.4. + Vision 2 and soon Vision 3 Film, you can't go wrong.
  5. First, I would like a camera where I could make very long shots (2 minutes or more) and not only 25 or 30 seconds shots like in the mechanical bolex or K3. Is there only electric cameras to do that? Also, I would like to use new and sharper lenses, different than the one in the bolex H16 for example. The other important point is a clear viewfinder because i tried to shoot in dark conditions with a bolex but it's almost impossible to make the focus at f1.4 or even f2. And finally, it would be great to find a camera with an external magazine or a camera were i could put more than 100 feet cause it could really be a lost of time to use the change bag so often... Have you consider a CP GSMO? just as quiet as ACL, 400 loadcoaxial mag, reflex viewfinder and with crystal-control motor. Sweet little camera.
  6. GSMO standard 16 camera package, crystal-controled 12-64fps,sinusoidal registration movement, reflex viewfinder, handgrips. battery w/ charger, 400 coaxial magazine and Angenieux 17.5-70mm T2.5 zoom lens that I got from Ken of Whitehouse Audio Visual. $2,000 Thanks, -Ray
  7. Hey Kirk, I am asking $2000 for the package. It comes with an Angenieux lens that I got from Ken (whitehouse Audio Visual) and it's in pristine condition. I am sorry I wont be able to do trade, as I am trying to raise money for a super 16 conversion.
  8. Hey Alex, I have a GSMO standard 16 camera package, crystal-controlled motor 12-64 fps, sinusoidal registration movement, reflex viewfinder, handgrips, 400 coaxial magazine, Angenieux 17.5-70mm T2.5 zoom. It is one of the two camera that we used to shoot a music video. It's like shooting with an ARRI SR ( just as quiet, easy to load, built like a tank ) and for 1/4 of the price. I am looking into selling one of the package to finance the super 16 conversion of the other one. Ray

  15. Hi, I am a new member of this forum and a student filmaker. I am very much interested in purchasing your Beaulieu 6008 Pro camera. When was this last serviced? I have a new project that I need to shoot soon. I've sent an email through here, but I'm not sure if you've received it. Please email me ASAP either here or at purepictures@sbcglobal.net. Your global collaborative documentary project had caught my attention. I am interested in joining should I come up with something. Thanks, Rai
