  1. Hello Everyone, I am making a short movie about a little girl and a rabbit and I would appreiate if somebody could guide me on specific lights / equipments to rent for this shot. I want a ambient light around and a soft light coming from the window on the little girl and rabbit. I am shooting with a Bolex EBM 16mm using a Kodak Vision2 200T/ 7217. I have some stills from the room for you to have an idea. Shot 1 I did some manipulation in Photoshop. Also if anybody knows a good place for renting lights in LA please let me know. Thank you very much for your help. Best, Paulo

  4. Hi Everyone, Is there any way that I could record sound on the Bolex EBM without any problems? Does the Bolex company have any solutions? I know about the blimp but I heard that does not work very well either. I s there any other hightec sound proof material out there? another question is what if I decide to buy a brand new one from the Bolex company are they silent enough to record sound? Thank you, Paulo
  5. Hi everyone, I also have a Bolex EBM, and I am looking to get a macro. I look the price on www.chamblesscineequip.com for the Switar 10mm and is $2,200.00. And my question is what is the difference between the $2,200.00 one and the $102.00 on Ebay? Thank you, Paulo
  6. I got it. Yes I put in the wrong way, the concave was out far way from the gate. Thank you so much for your help!
  7. First of all thank you for you guys respoding to my question, I appreciate very much. I didn't know about the diopter. That is just for the our eyes or acctually affect the camera viewport? The c mount adapter, where you see the letters printed on the (metal) adapter "C mount adapter" I mouted that facing the camera or I could say the lens were on the opposite side of the letters engraved on the metal. My other lens is the original "POE" and is perfect the camera is like new. Thank you! First of all thank you for you guys respoding to my question, I appreciate very much.
