Hi all. I´m preparing a film for February with the Alexa. The director wants and I´m agree to have a final image format of 2.35. What is the best way to get 2.35 with the Alexa, I know is not the best but perhaps the less worst. Have the wiewfinder of the camera 2.35 preview? I say the lines of the cache. Hi, i am going to shoot a music video in a ice hockey rink. we are going to use the red one like principal camera, in 2k, 16mm optics to shoot at 120fps. We want to do some shootings inside the ice, moving, quickly, fast... what is the best camera to do this? at first we have the varicam, and mix with the hvx200 o similar panasonic, but now with the red one i dont know, is my first time with the red one. more recomendations are aprecieted, about red one and shoot in the ice.. setting and how move inside thank you very much.

Hi all. and excuse for my english. We bought a new dvx100b. And we notice there are a line border the frame. Green atleft, red up and blue right. And dont know if this is normal, I send a frame and a detail of the upperleft . We know normally this is outside, not in internet videos...we want to know if the camera is ok. Thank you very much

I am going to use the Solitaire V to transfer a shortfilm record in minidv to 35mm. Is similar to the arri laser? What is the best format to transfer, from tiff? And if we interpolate in photoshop each frame to hd resolution or more could be better then to trnasfer? Thank you all.

hi all! I record a boxing shortfilm, in spain, PAL, with my panasonic dvx100ae. We record with the idea of transfer to 35mm. I use 25p. 16:9 of the camera not optic. It was a good election? some people say me "isn´t good idea"(about 16:9). We want transfer digitaly to 35mm I dont know if with arri laser or another digital but not laser. Is in B&W, I have to do something special or change to get better?. I am going to try use premiere kodak. I record with 2 stop underexposing and 9 db. Little crazy but i want big grain nearly puntillist picture stile. I want to put it in normal expose. I have to put it up now or in 35mm? I am going to do tiff secuence to do the transfer. What problems could appear? 16:9? under expose? contrast? Thank you and excuse me for my english!

Perhaps I dont explaine wery good really. We make some videos to projected during the live performance like a vj but with another stile. You Know some software to manage the video on live.

HI, I think this is not the best forum for this question but i like cinematography. com a lot. I have to make videos for a performance and we want to plays diferent videos according the time events, performers, etc... I have the ArKaos that is fine but I dont know to change from a video to another in play the two at the same time and then go back to the other, with preview of them. I ask for another software Thak you all!!!

hi there, I heard some discurrsion but is not clear for me sorry. Is possible to put directly the image from the camera to a portable hard disk (like Lacie) with out a computer or laptop. I know one that is a preview in dvxuser.com but is more expensive
