  1. I can't seem to find a simple concise version of the steps in post workflow for a project shot on the RED camera and then cut in Final Cut. Starting on set to finishing onto an HD master. I would sure appreciate some direction on this if anyone has gone through it??? Thanks: Ryan Barton-Grimley
  2. With a heavier fixture, the clamp will usually impact the actual pole, being that they're aluminum. And even though the weight is designed to go downward, with the heavier fixtures it seems to go laterally as well making it less stable. I've seena vertically rigged Auto pole with a Leko slip. Thank god nobody got hurt.
  3. I appreciate the interest, but I'd like to sell the whole thing as a package. THANX rbg
  4. Hey all, My CP-16R is still for sale. I'm posting it here again, but will post it on ebay soon. I'm willing to reduce the price to $2000 and might entertain offers of certain kinds. I'm not sure what those kinds would be, but I'm willing to listen to them. Anyhow, I just had it serviced by George Zorzolli at Optical Electro House and it was given a clean bill of health. Here's what you get: 1. CP-16R camera body (NO LENSE - I'm keeping it for my GSMO) 2. MAGS (2) - Clean baby!!! 3. BATTERIES (2) 4. CHARGER (1) 5. AC power supply w/ dummy battery 6. FLIGHT CASE - The sturdiest thing that I've ever seen. ALL FOR THE LOW PRICE OF $2000usd + shipping to wherever.... HISTORY: I bought this little beauty in MAY 2006 from some guys who had just shot a hip-hop feature and needed finishing funds. They had most of the inards replaced in 2005, shot some stuff and then had to sell. I immediately shot a music video with it and was very happy with the results. You can see it here: http://cosmicstarfish.net/ This camera would be a prime candidate for a Super16 conversion, or just be great as it is! Like I said I'd like it to go to someone who could use it and will appreciate it, so..... You can email me at rbgfilms@yahoo.com or call me on my cell 805-455-8949 THANX!!! RBG
  5. Hey all, I'm planning on shooting some stuff with the HVX200 onto P2 cards. I have an old Macbook w/ the p2 card slot and it has Final Cut Express HD on it. I was planning to use this on set to download footage to two portable hard-drives, one as back-up. Is Final Cut Express HD the only software that I need? If not what else could I use? Is there a simple program that will download P2 to 2 hard drives at the same time? My goal was to then use my desktop Final Cut Pro system to actually cut, getting my media from the hard drives. Will this work? Am I missing a piece of the puzzle? answers and info much appreciated!!! RBG
