  1. Actually Phil I tend to agree with you about DPing a DV feature :-) But last time I suggested that film was superior to DV the folks out here wanted to hunt me down and skin me! Certainly it's tough to learn about exposing film, for example, if you're shooting video. I don't think any one can argue with that. DC
  2. You can always try DPing low budget shorts. Then at least you get your name on them as the DP. If you find someone working with 35mm that would be especially good. But a DV feature or short is always better than nothing. Look on www.mandy.com there are always people looking for a free DP on there. DC
  3. You people are all crazy! Don't you know that Lucas has the electronic ability to find out where each of you live. He's dispatching Storm Troopers to your homes right now, soon you'll all be dead. Like a bunch of Jawas in episode 1, or was that episode 9, or 27? The greatest of all his films was of course the original 1977 Star Wars. The other two where pretty good. The last two...well...young Jedi uses power to float fruit so he can make hot young queen giggle. Enough said. FYI, I actually met Lucas at his ranch in 1998. Shook his hand, talked to him, and I even got pictures to prove it. Seemed like a nice guy, much shorter in person though. DC
  4. Well I don't think you'll find any thing of good quality for free. How can people send out free stock footage? There would still be tape and shipping costs. As for cheap...have you tried Time Image? It's good quality and very cheap by stock footage standards, plus it's royalty free. Time Image Website David.
