Hi Steve, my own opinion is to avoid those cheap $25-50.00 aluminum adapters. I have yet to find an accurate one.

Fotodiox makes a respectable adapter, but they vary in accuracy by up to +/- .03mm. This means you must shim the lens to the adapter in the case of high speed lenses. I quality control them using gage blocks & a precision height gage on a granite surface plate. I send back the ones that are more than .01mm out. 

Right now, I have a dead-on Les Bosher stainless B to PL quick-release adapter ($ 285.00 + shipping) and a QC'd Fotodiox unit that is also dead-nuts zero ($ 195.00). PL rear caps: $ 18.00.  Let me know if these interest you.

What lens mount is offered ? Does it include a support/cradle. Lens is not really usable without a cradle.

Selling a nicely maintained set of Zeiss T2.1/PL standard primes for 35mm/S35  format. Set includes:

16mm T2.1/PL modified for close focus, 24mm T2.1/PL Close Focus, 40mm T2.1/PL, 50mm T2.1/PL, 85mm T2.1/PL & 135mm T2.1/PL. Lenses are all MK-II style EXCEPT the 40mm which has no iris drive gear, just a knurled ring (M K-I style). Glass is clean: No scratches beyond micro cleaning marks here & there, no fungus.  No major barrel dings. All focus rings secure. 

Contained in fitted shipping case.  Lenses will be service checked prior to delivery for proper lubrication & back-focus collimation.

Offering for sale a good clean used Optimo short zoom: 28-76mm T2.6 in PL mount. Nice shape but not a new lens. Some tiny paint separation dots around front element are visible reflected in glass from the front, but do not affect photographic image. Tracks straight, holds focus all clean internally. Tested on projector & collimator. Price includes fitted case as shown.

Offering for sale an amazingly clean Cooke Speed Panchro Series II 40mm lens in original Arri Standard mount. Ready for your re-barrel. Lens is pristine, almost as new, minimal wear on focu tabs and rear of barrel around rear element. Glass is clean with a few tiny coating scuffs barely visible to the naked eye. No scratches. Color is warm but not excessively yellow. Hard to find focal length.

Next Item is a first gen. Zeiss Arri 9.5mm super `16 T1.3 super speed in original Arri Bayonet mount. Condition is Excellent + with no discernable barrel wear. A few tiny scuffs on coatings. No scratches. Crystal clear images. Included is an Arri B to Aaton adatper (set-screw type), and a rare Arri Aspheron (made by Kern, Swiss) that converts the lens to an astonishingly sharp and low-distortion 5.5mm with no light loss. Lens has accessory 80mm front for Arri system compatibility.

On early cameras, the mirror shaft gear is retained by a 1.5mm pin. On later caemras it is held by a screw. Only full disassembly will reveal the problem. Mirror could be unstable on other end of shaft which is more difficult to address.

Now undergoing overhaul service in my Seattle shop.

Regarding video assist: The camera is offered with Aaton "Option-R" video beam-spllitter optics installed, but no video tap unit. It is therefore ready to receive either a factory Aaton unit (one of which I have in stock) or an aftermarket solution from any number of 3rd parties.

I am open to limited discount packaging of optics & accessories. Let's discuss.
