I may have an Eclair BEALA motor for you. This was Eclair's best motor, runs 24fps Xtal and also has variable speed mode. Designed by the late JP Beauviala who later founded Aaton.  Powered by 12vdc through Canon 4-pin XLR plug. I can include a cable. Let me get back to you re: pricing. Could be a "ruggedized" mount for military/aerospace use. Fastax, Fairchild and I believe Photosonics all had proprietary special use mounts ruggedized for high-G environments. 

Very strange. In over 30yrs in the cine camera biz, I have not seen this. All 3-lug mounting systems (CP, Aaton, Mitchell Mk-II) have lugs that protrude radially beyond the mount barrel. This mount has three lugs, but they appear flush with the mount barrel. The mount looks like an Arri std mount that was modified for reasons known only to those who did it. If you have a precision vernier caliber, measure the mount barrel (just forward of the lugs) . If it measure 41mm (or 40.95mm etc) It is Arri Standard. The cuttouts I cannot account for. Earlier posters are correct in saying the Cooke 9-50mm T2.5 zoom is a Standard 16mm lens. Cooke released a Super-16 version: 10.4-52mm T2.8, but it is a relatively rare lens.  UK firms: Optex & Abakus offered S16 conversions for the lens. 

I will soon have available the Cooke/Abakus unit: 10.8-60mm T2.6 in , I believe Aaton mount. Please email me if interested.

I can set folks up with a limited number of Aaton on-board batteries (either 12v or 16vdc) with appropriate charger & aux power cable (4-pin XLR) at reasonable prices. But not free.

FOR SALE an excellent  CP2/PL mount cine lens. Scarce Macro version of 50mm T2.1 CP2.  Continuous focus down to 1:2 macro magnification. Close focus is about 4" from front ring. Exposure compensation for max close focus is engraved on the focus scale ( about 3/4 stop).  Lens just had CLA and is very clean. Glass is perfect. There are a few faint stains on front trim rings.  PL mount, no case. PRICE: US$ 3700.00 obo.

My only thought is: Yes, this is the claw side of the film channel where the time code LED's are.  If the ASA (ISO) on the light meter is not set for the correct ISO of your film, the LED's may be producing an overly bright image, which could perhaps conduct through the film base (halation). Color of late-production Aaton LED matrix is yellow.  It is worth checking out, hope this helps.

Offered for sale is an extremely scarce and desirable Canon 6.6-66mm T2.7 Super-16 format zoom lens. This is the 3rd and final generation of wide S16 zooms created by Canon in conjunction with Suzuki Enterprises, the Aaton agents for Japan. It replaced the Canon 7-63mm & 8-64mm wide angle units that broke new ground in terms of resolution, contrast and compactness in S16 optics. This is the so-called "Hurt Locker" lens (not the actual lens, but the same type).  Currently mounted in Aaton (AA) mount, it can be supplied in various factory Canon lens mounts as follows:
