we are also going through the " we should buy this item " phase mostly for the freeedom to shoot when /as we want any suggestions on where to purchase relable preowned cammera ( arri sr1/2) im a little nervous about ebay ;)

after 10 years in the corporate graphics/,marketing world (gah) I got back to movies- we did a couple of shorts in the last year- more planned this year I worked as an usher as a teen- so the movies I grew with all where inspiring But I find now going through the all the mjovies we watch these days there is something inspiring in everything i watch more so because weve in idea as to how these things are done :)

yeah, ive been dreading that- the camera is a tad loud the thinking is to do a wild sound track on location and if we need more, adr the whole thing back at our studio (we have a booth so no biggie- other than time)

Just found your forum and its great! and just to get my newbie dumb question out of the way...Ill ask this We are looking at shooting our next short film and are looking at shootuing it in 16mm- weve done this enough in digital and want to try this in film we have acquired a bolex h16- and are good to go so my question any advice- any thing special i need - any thought (related to shooting with a bolex- i undersatand the basics, lightening and all that) thanks : :)
