  1. It may have a minor effect, but since the imager (CCD aspect ratio) is basically the same size, I would use the 4:3 stuff pretty much with impunity. (This is like shooting 16mm film in an SR-3 at 4:3 aspect ratio or shooting Super 16mm with the same camera) There is a slight change of dept of field because of the longer diagonal, but it is minimal, given the same circle of confusion and matching focal length.
