  1. Hi Everyone, I am looking for some stock footage of Paris France, and wanted to ask here first. All together, I need about 30 sec. of daytime, and 30 sec. of night. I'm specifically looking for the standard shots... Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triumph, etc.. Thanks everybody! Chris :)
  2. Mr. Mullen, Bravo, sir. I watched this a few nights ago, and was overwhelmed by the majestic exhibit of light and vistas you brilliantly displayed. Absolutely dazzling, sir. Its work such as yours that make us Indies strive to be better, leading the pack by inspiring us with your talents. Many, many thanks for your hard work. Beautiful job. Sincerely, Christopher Allen RACSO Motion Pictures
  3. Dear Filmmakers, My name is Christopher Allen, and I have owned and operated RACSO Motion Pictures since it?s inception in 1993. I am looking for a Director of Photography for my next low budget feature, which I am planning to shoot in mid to late April of 2007. This production will be my fourth feature to date, and I am anxious to find a fellow collaborator in the area of photography. This position is paid, but interested participants are encouraged to be willing to negotiate their daily rates. Out of town (Indianapolis) candidates will have lodging and food provided. Candidates from around the Midwest would be ideal considering travelling costs on off days throughout the week. DP with video and lighting gear a plus. As of now, our format is the XL2, 16X9. The production, ?A Time for the Heart?, is a feature length drama exploring the emotional consequences of time travel. A full break down of the project can be found here. Screenplay available upon request. Interested candidates are asked to please contact Christopher Allen (racsoallen@gmail.com) with examples of previous work and three references. Thank you for your consideration. Best regards, Christopher Allen RACSO Motion Pictures
  4. RACSO Motion Pictures, based in Indianapolis Indiana, is seeking an experienced DP (in Super 16mm) for their upcoming film, In My Life. The film is an Independent Production. In My Life is a unique-concept drama that covers seventy years in the life of one man. The story centers on the character of Mike Rizzio, a modern day gangster who is sent to the Emergency Room from a fatal gunshot wound. While there, an old man dying of heart failure lies adjacent to the gangster. An odd phenomenon transposes the gangster?s soul into the life of the old man? back to 1937. During the three-minute struggle to save both lives, Rizzio is living out every day of the old man's vivid, poignant life. The supernatural occurrence leaves Rizzio with every memory and moment the old man witnesses, altering his life for the better. This production is non-union, and will be shot throughout Indianapolis, Indiana. Meals/transportation/lodging will be provided. Producer Christopher Allen is hoping to find a DP with a professional, yet personal affinity for the film and it?s story. (We prefer someone who appreciates the importance of American history.) The film?s nine-year history began in 1995, being shopped in LA for two years before landing a deal with Disney that had an Oscar Award winning actress (Maraget O'Brien) attached. Falling into turnaround at Disney, Allen pulled the film out in hopes to produce the story himself. A thorough breakdown of the film?s history can be found at the website, www.racsofilms.com The screenplay is also available for your consideration as well. Interested professionals are more than welcome to contact Christopher Allen via e-mail at racsome@sbcglobal.net. Thank you for your consideration. Christopher Allen Indianapolis
  5. Phil, Thanks for the 411. Very helpful. What other equipment out there gives you depth of field for the XL1s besides the P&S Technik? Have a great Thanskgiving! KIROK
  6. Hi All, I'm new here, and I am so glad I found this place. Just a quick question... has anyone in here used the P&S Technik Pro 35 Digital Image Converter PL 35mm to B-4 adapter on the XL1s? Any stories on your experiences with it? I'm considering using that on my next feature, then throwing it out to AE with Filmlook plugs in. Any ideas would be great. Thanks everyone!! ~KIROK
