I have a Photec IV high speed 16mm camera and want to shoot at 2000fps. I don't have a light meter that can measure the light needed for that frame rate. How should I go about measuring the light for such a high frame rate? Jonathan Taee

I think this is for pal. I need a setting for NTSC. I have a hunch it's 1.33 therefore 133% faster. Any other thoughts?

Hello, I am shooting on a bolex 16mm camera. I want to shoot a mouth singing a song where the lips are synced to the music, but I want the footage to be in slow motion. I know I need to speed up my sound sample and then shoot at a high frame rate. But how much do I need to speed up my sound if I shoot at 32fps? Is this likely to work? Cheers, Jonney

Thanks for the response. I was beginning to think no one out there would have an answer. I don't want to loose the image. I just want to increase the contrast and grain. Or see any of the other effects heating the film might have. I plan on shooting the 16mm film, cooking it, then processing it. What happens if I keep reheating it a few times, keeping it under 85 degrees F? If the emulsion flakes off will the image still be visible? I'm thinking not. Cheers, Jonathan Taee

Hello, I am planning on playing with film by heating it up and adding different chemicals and dyes. Does anyone know the melting temperature for kodak 7266 or any other 16mm stock. I want to gently heat it to its maximum, but not fuse the film together. Cheers, Jonathan Taee

Hello, This is my first post to this forum. I'm excited to have found this little enclave. I am looking to shoot my next film on an Arri BL 16mm. I really want a wide screen look to it. Where can I find a cheap, yet good anamorphic lens for the BL? I have been looking but can't seem to find any. Any advice on this little venture would be much appreciated. JT
