  1. Hi all, My name is Ben Ng, I just graduated from college. Aiming to be a successful DP. Still getting my way up the ladder. After filming some projects here and there. I put together a DP reel. Check it out, let me know what you think. Thanks http://www.veoh.com/browse/videos/category...9808839kePsBYyJ
  2. Hi all, I was reading the book , Set Lighting Technician's Handbook by Harry C. Box. It mentions about the Contrast Viewing Glass. It sounds like ,it is a useful tool on set for DP. (http://www.filmtools.com/conview.html) I heard of people just use sun glasses instead of that. Anyone use it before? is it worth to spend 40 bucks to buy one? Is it helpful, somewhat accurate or would it slow down my pace on set? between. I am a college student starting to do more shootings. Thanks
  3. i only went to Pac lab for my test rolls. I sent mind super8 out of state. But I heard A1filmlab is better than Pac Lab. I sent my 16mm film to A1, they are good. Hey Pac Lab only charge that much..so dont ask for too much. 2 yrs ago.. more than half my classmates went to pac lab, some A1 , some out of state. but like 3 people's film got mess up at pac lab (totally white or darkness due to soaping too long or not enought time) so of course those 3 people would say no to pac lab, but other would say they are cool. yeah it depends.. and human does make mistakes. i would vote for A1, but it takes longer to get back your super 8. Good luck
