I recently dug up Chinon Sound 7000 8mm projector, only to find that it is missing the power cord. I believe it's a proprietary 3 pin cord. It somewhat resembles a molex connector. I have looked all over the internet but no luck. If anyone has one laying around for some reason, or can instruct me as to where they can be acquired; it would be greatly appreciated. Edit: Title should read "Looking for Chinon power supply" not supple. I'm not that much of an idiot I promise.

Frank, I personally am not. However, my father is friends with the editor I was talking about and he felt it would be worthwhile for me to have lunch with him.

Actually Mark, the main reason I'm flying out there is to go to the expo. I'll be sure to get over to the S.O.C booth.

Here in a few days I will be flying to Los Angeles and having lunch with one of the current editors of the TV series "Monk". I'm fairly intimidated and there are about a thousand things flying through my head. I'm not really sure where to begin or what exactly to ask. I'm not looking for any specific conversational paradigm, but rather some things other industry amateurs would like to ask someone who has been around a while and knows the business well.

I just printed off my pass today for the expo in June. I'm looking forward to it considering this is my first major event. I just thought I would throw this out there and see who all is going. Any particular vendors you are anxious to check out? Comments on last year? et cetera.

Lower end DV performance seems to plateau somewhat early, however you can definitely obtain "good" results in the depth of field realm. I have even gotten decent shallow DOF shots on the XL1s little invalid brother the GL2.
