  1. Kikstarter.com, or IndieGoGo.com are two sites to start with... Good Luck!
  2. http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/specs/Canon/
  3. Doesn't Magic Lantern fix that issue? I thought it did.
  4. Well, for starters, here's a shot of the storefront for Supreme: http://donwiss.com/pictures/manhattanstores/h0062.htm I would be certain that they will charge your card and then backorder the item indefinitely until either they or you cancel. They would use the interest on your money. Having been in camera retail for 10 years, I know the schemes. Be careful! Dave
  5. For my business, I use a Sniper telcine from MovieStuff. Next best thing to a Rank without the cost. Illumination is even and sharpness is excellent. My 8mm Sniper equipped with a Sony 50mm macro. For my 16mm Sniper Pro, I prefer a 50mm Super Takamar oddly enough. Dave
  6. Hello, I just purchased a 5DMKII for my still photography work but am *very* intrigued with it's HD video capabilities. I've shot a few corporate video projects with a Sony V1U and am excited to learn more about what the 5D can do. So far, I'm impressed. My question has to do with glass: - I see some discussion about using Nikon G series of lenses with the 16-9.net adapter. What is so special about these lenses in the way they function over Canon? - Is there a good "starter lens" to get? Prime or Zoom? - Any pitfalls with lenses to watch out for? Thanks much! Dave
  7. What about the recording length, given the 4GB limitation? Do you have to stop recording every 12 minutes?
  8. Slightly OT, but in regards to the 5D MKII's 4GB limitation, is that to say that you can only record 12 minutes at a time? or is it to say that if you have an 8GB CF card, you can record 24 minutes seamlessly, but it will have created two 4GB files on the card? Is there any limitation on recording length as far as sensor heat and image quality is concerned? Dave
