  2. Looking for a nice condition Arriflex 416 16mm camera package (preferably with a couple of onboard batteries). Also looking for a couple of OBB-1 for a 235. Cheers, Ole
  3. Wondering if anyone has any experience with this 'old style' hand crank accessory. It was made for Arri 16S or 16M. Maybe even someone has a manual for it? Thanks, Ole
  4. Adam, Too bad you weren't interested in 5222 (35mm equivalent)...I've got some - and I'm in Australia. Mine were from Raw Stock Inc on Broadway, Manhattan, NYC...Rich, the owner is a great guy to deal with. Call him, he might have it and ship it fast. Here's their web-page: http://www.raw-stock.com/ Good luck, mate! Ole
  5. Tim / All, Just for your info, I just hooked up that 50 year old Arri 16s with my switch-mode lab power supply, and it was purring like a cat. So obviously the pin nearest to the door IS in fact the positive pin. Thanks a lot, Tim. Just wasn't too sure whether there was a difference between the first model to the latest. Thanks, Ole :D
  6. Tim, Are you a 100% sure that this is the case also for the rare flat door version, as well? When comparing this with my 16SB, I can see a difference in size on the SB, but not on the S (flat door). Have a look at the below picture of the power cables (easier than taking photo of my cameras). Notice how the left cable does show a difference in "hole size"? That is the original 16SB cable. However, the right hand cable is the one supplied with my Arri 16s (flat door). I can see no difference in hole diameter here. Anyone? Can I assume that the pin towards the door is actually the positive pin still (I agree, it would be logic that Arri would have been consistent throughout their model range). Ole
  7. Hi, In order to test my Arri 16s (first flat door version), I need to know which of the two identical banana plug (male) sticking out from the back of the camera is the positive one. I don't have an ohm meter. Thanks in advance, Ole
  8. All, Finally found a very useful document: http://books.google.com.au/books?id=r4LgHi...snum=3#PPA60,M1 Page 60 says it all. Thanks to all for valid input! Ole
  9. Thanks for your answers! :) Both my Arri 2c and 2b actually has this same 2 pin to 5 pin XLR power cable (to connect with female 5pin xlr battery). I guess these were more popular in Europe, potentially, as both my cameras have been in German hands... After a brief research online: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_Multiplex http://pinouts.ru/Home/dmx-512_pinout.shtml I believe I've found the diagram I was looking for...However, one can never be too sure, as this is obviously not the common Arri 2c cable... Not sure if my battery source provide these female sockets though...
  10. Hi all, About to buy myself a battery/charger for my Arriflex 2c here: http://www.batteryspace.com/index.asp?Page...amp;ProdID=2014 However, the interesting thing is that I obviously need to know which of the 5 pins from the xlr that connects to the poles on the battery (+/-). Does anyone here have a diagram showing which pin is + and which is - ? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Kind Regards, Ole
  11. Hi all, I am looking for an ARRI BAYONET mount wide angle lens (for 16mm camera). Anyone have one for sale? Really only interested in a wide-angle below the 12mm focal length. Regards, Ole
  12. Tim, Well, the camera has the Zeiss type viewfinder attached to the door. So it is the original eyepiece that came with the first arri 16s. Here's a picture. Regards, Ole
  13. Hi all, Acquired an Arri 16s with flat door lately, and I need to replace its eyecup. I know that the viewfinder was replaced with a better one on the later models. Anyone have one of these eyecups or know if I can get a non-arri one? Anyone else out there with a flat door version? Regards, sundsby
