I like putting diffusion on the INSIDE of the barndoors (against the tubes and clipped to the reflector). I don't like the way bare kino tubes look on skin so I always put something on there. You can cut down the light with heavier diffusion without changing the quality of light too much. I've never tried to cut two stops down, but I bet 216 or grid cloth would do the trick. Possibly even bleached muslin.

The site is simple and straight forward, which is perfect. As a side note, the images from the film "Katinkas kalas" look amazing. What did you shoot on? What kind of lighting package did you use?

I use fatcow as well and it has been the cheapest and easiest I have found. Personally I built my website in Adobe Illustrator (not the best way but the way I understand), but I have heard many good things about WordPress and Joomla which are open source (free) and pretty easy to use.

Hello everyone. I have been wondering around these forums for some time now and finally have some work that I can show. I am a student cinematographer and this is my first attempt at 16mm film.
