  3. Hi Jacob, If you're still looking for lenses I have several (including an original set) that I used regularly on my BLII. The cheapest are the original Arriflex Cine Xenon's which originally came with that camera. They aren't as sharp as Zeiss or as pretty as Cooke, but they are cheap and if you're going into telecine or DI and staying in video, I've found a good colorist can get them to match both Zeiss and Cooke lenses almost perfectly. I also have specialty lenses (swing/tilt, macro, etc.) in Arri Standard Mount. I could probably put together a basic set of a 20mm, 35mm, 40mm, 50mm and 75mm for around $2,000. Otherwise I have Zeiss Distagons (standard speed) also in Arri Standard Mount that are truly amazing if you want something super sharp. Let me know if you are using the blimp and need the "ears" or if you prefer a geared lens. Anyhow, send me an email or message if you're interested.
  4. Thanks for reading... I need a new ground glass for a Super 35mm Arri BL4 with a 3 perf movement finishing on HD. I've been getting somewhat conflicting dimensions and was hoping someone could help. I was told that in order to shoot 1:1.78 (HDTV) on an Arri camera the dimensions on the ground glass should be .4980 by .8858 (which I believe is HDTV safe). However, I was told for 3 perf Super it should be .511 by .910 Does anyone have any suggestions. Again here are the specs. Arriflex BL4 3 Perf movement and Super 35 centered. Also, as a side note, if I wanted to see the 2.35/2.40 aspect for letterboxing in HD what would the dimensions be? Thanks.

  12. This is the Chrosziel 203-01 Follow Focus with the additional (second) focus wheel. Paid $4,200. Item had been handled but never used. Bought it for a camera package which I have since sold. So I am calling it new. Check out the retail prices. The unit alone without the second wheel sells for at least $3,500. The second wheel is $750. It is in excellent/new condition. You get everything you see including an old flight case which is NOT in very good cosmetic condition, but will protect the unit well during shipping. I am only selling because I need cash, so I'm willing to keep using my FF-2 instead. FREE SHIPPING. PICTURES AND SALE ON EBAY: http://cgi.ebay.com/Chrosziel-203-01-Follo...9#ht_500wt_1182

  14. I'm looking to trade a very nice 35 OPF-7-1 (25-250 zoom) that has been converted to PL mount. It's a nice lens but I mostly use primes or my faster 20-120 (the OPF is a 4.5) Does anyone have an idea what this might be currently worth? Thanks.
