  1. I don't know if it is an option, but if it comes to the worst you could use your 650W and amplify the effect in post-production.
  2. I don't know about optical media being better. Tape seems more archival than CDs and DVDs, which invariably get scratched or develop rot.
  3. Don't make people watch that! It was the most vile piece of footage I have ever seen. I am still trying to forget it.
  4. Too right! I immediately cross off the ones that are stuck in a line reading.
  5. OliveBarrel Productions is seeking a DP or camera operator (the shots are already composed) to lend a hand in the filming of That's Funny, Isn't It?. The script was written not to require anything fancier than a dolly, and we might not even need that. We want to shoot in natural light in order to avoid spending our limited time arranging lighting. This is the perfect job for a cinematographer looking for experience; the director is a photographer himself and can lend a helping hand. We prefer people with their own equipment (if at least equal to a DVX100a or XL2). Note: The shooting will be in early September. Contact ASAP so we can discuss the storyboard.
