  1. basic question, will the agnieux C mount lenses from beaulieu super 8 cams such as the 2008 cover the frame on the 16mm beaulieus such as the r16? or will I have vignetting etc
  2. so far I have seen them going for around 100-125 buy it now on ebay, I am wondering what kind of target price I should set myself for these. Its not emergency, so I can buy one anytime a reasonable deal comes up any ideas? thanks :)
  3. yea I knew something like this would come up, I was hoping there would be enouhg room to recess the c mount lens thread back as far as they would need to go, considering c mount lenses are generally quite small phyisically to begin with. Oh well, at least I was thinking outside of the box :)
  4. yes, I was thinking there could be made an adapter which recesses the neccesary 28mm, since many of the c mount lenses are so phyisically small and narrow, I thought maybe there would be enough room in there to make it work :) I guess there is no point in trying to create this experiment!
  5. I am looking to find an adapter which will convert my k3 (m42 mount) to be able to use c mount lenses, I doubt anyone makes such a thing so I am wondering if anyone has suggestions for anywhere to get a custom adapter like this made? thanks :)
  6. Hi Saul, thanks for your reply but I don't think you understood my question. The Krasnogorsk is an m42 mount as factory, and I would like to use an m42 to c mount adapter, meaning that I would like to in the end be using c mount lenses on the K-3. Do you think that would work without any issues such as vignetting etc ?
  7. I've been getting conflicting info so I'd like to ask someone who might actually own the camera (or have experience with it) - does it take 100' kodak rolls, or is it some special 50 foot plastic spool? thanks :)
  8. Anyone know if I can use an m42 to C mount adapter on the M42 K3? Im just shooting regular 16 not super, will it cover the frame? vignetting? any other problems you can think of? thanks :)
  9. all aspects amazing! perfect! bravo! I really love it, and I am quite a critical person... this had my attention the whole way through
  10. if the basics seem to be covered id say its unlikely the camera is dead - but its possible... heres somewhat of a longshot but it could totally be this: if the camera has a dissolve loop function (where it rewinds the film a bit to let you do cross dissolve types shots) it might have been activated then put back into position a, you'll have to put it back into position b and press the trigger - youll hear the cam run backwards for a few seconds and then everything will be back to normal and operational. just be careful with that rewind dissolve switch.
  11. you can cross process your tri-x, if thats not a problem for you, really brings up contrast from my experience..
