  1. Here's what it looks like when mag is opened accidentally. Intensity of light exposure wasn't consistent across the whole platter, so it appears to pulsate. Pulse occurs with each revolution of the supply side platter.
  2. This was owned by a German DP until 2013. I haven't shot a ton of footage with it -- maybe 12-15 x 400'. It was serviced by Arri Munich shortly before I purchased it. Storage has been 60-65F @ 35% RH the entire time I've had it (except for shooting). I can't imagine that there are any cleaner, lower-mileage units available. Batteries are good and are being maintained properly. One was new in 2015, others have been re-celled.
  3. Avoid earthquake season and don't carry anything of value in a vehicle.
  4. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PhsQ0HWy1Ak&feature=youtu.be I think he meant "dynamic range" not "depth of field". But anyhow, the discussion is kind of amusing.
  5. Here's a better URL: https://www.ebay.com/itm/403994181335
  6. Best offer takes it. Buy before end of year and use Section 179 deduction to deduct entire purchase price. Have a look at pictures on ebay https://www.ebay.com/b/Arri-16mm-Movie-Cameras/4689/bn_598964 and we can discuss.
  7. I found a place in LA where the model can be printed in chocolate: https://sugarlab3d.com/pages/faq-2
  8. Here is a more detailed version. It's a 235 with a 120m shoulder mag and Arri Ultra Prime lens. I haven't had a chance to print this yet. I hope it works when I finally do print it. I couldn't afford a viewfinder.
  9. What do you know, there is such a thing as a 3D Chocolate Printer. I definitely need one...
