hi there, maybe someone in here is able to help me out: the left reflex leaf of my Arri SRII eyepiece is broken (loose) and I'm wondering IF and WHERE I could get it repaired. Also, would be great to know how much this would cost or if it would be easier buying another eyepiece for the SRII. Thanks in advance! :) Alex

Hey there, looking for recommendations for a good and sturdy camera bag that is big/small enough to carry an Aaton A-Minima, 3 magazines, a small Vocas matte box and some smaller accessories. Been looking into PortaBrace, but would love to hear your thoughts/recommentations. Thanks!

Hi Zac, I did look into the Sekonic L-558, though I only found the non-cine version. I think the filter compensation feature of the cine version would be quite nice.

Hello everyone! I would love to hear your thoughts on the thought below. I'm a student owning a nice S16 kit which I'm planning to use on a couple of projects. Since I'm not very experienced with shooting film I am looking for ways to practice getting the right exposures under various conditions. Unfortunately there are no film labs in my area, which led me to this thought: Theoretically, could I practice to expose film correctly by taking 35mm pictures and directly translating it to S16 film (assuming EI/ISO are the same). I guess what I really want to ask is how close S16 film stock and 35mm photography are to each other and if there are direct links/connections when it comes to the correct exposure. I do have an old Konica III camera (no built-in meter). I could expose with my meter and process/scan it to get an idea of how to expose the same scene with my S16 camera. Is this idea completely off? Thanks a lot for your time and feedback.

Thanks for clarification and for the list, Brian. Some of the sellers declared that their lens covers S16, though I assume those lenses were converted. After some more research the Angenieux 17.5-70 T2.2 seems like an interesting option.

However, I'd like to hear your advice/thoughts on these particular PL-mount lenses (some of them only PL Adapters) mentioned below as I'm planning to buy one of them for my Aaton A-Minima PL.
