I am currently in my last year of university and hope to start off as a camera trainee upon graduating. The restrictions on this short is that there was to be no music or dialogue. Just wondering what people think about it and can give me any suggestions or comments, Thanks!

Hi everyone, I am new to the forums. I am a student living in Winnipeg Manitoba currently in my final year of my film degree. I plan to get on as a camera trainee locally here right after school, as well as continue with making short films. This is my first short and I was just wondering what people thought about it, and could give any advice on what I can do better. The assignment was that we take a song and make a music video for that song. Shot with a Canon 5D Mark II, Shot with 3 different Canon L series lenses, 70-200, 35mm, and a 14mm. From the very small amount of experience that I have had I found that it can be difficult. I have tried directing at the same time as operating with some short films. It can be done for shorts although, I just feel that directing wise I could have done a much better job if I wasn't operating the camera.
